For Nikolaos Tragas, the practice of law has always been about people. Throughout his professional life, helping individuals, families, businesses and communities has remained at the centre of everything he has done.

Before entering the legal profession, Nikolaos enjoyed a successful career within the Oil and Telecommunications industries, developing commercial insight, leadership skills and an understanding of how businesses operate in the real world. He later served his community as an elected Councillor and Mayor of the City of Boroondara, where he worked closely with residents, businesses and community organisations to resolve complex issues and deliver practical outcomes.

Nikolaos approaches every client with professionalism, empathy and determination, recognising that legal advice should not only be technically sound, but also commercially sensible and personally responsive. Clients value his ability to explain complex legal issues in plain English and his unwavering focus on achieving practical, commercially realistic outcomes.

Practice Manager

Eve Emetlis

Eve Emetlis is the Practice Manager at Rhodes & Spence Lawyers and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the firm's operations, ensuring the practice runs efficiently, professionally and in compliance with all regulatory obligations.

Working closely with the Principal Solicitor, Eve oversees practice administration, financial management, billing and trust account processes, compliance, client service standards, file management and operational systems. She also monitors key performance indicators, including billable hours, workflow management and practice efficiency, helping the firm maintain the highest standards of client service.

Eve's attention to detail, organisational skills and commitment to excellence ensure that Rhodes & Spence Lawyers delivers a seamless experience for every client while supporting the firm's continued growth and success.
